The rising cost of health care. An aging population plus retiring baby boomers. Employers requiring a skilled and knowledgeable workforce.
Urgent. Such is the regional and national need for more and better educated health care workers, for capable clinical care and allied health outreach. Furthermore, the gap between the current and necessary number of health care professionals is expected to widen to a crisis point over the next five years.
The need is great and the timetable daunting, as the demand for health care workers grow rapidly.
